Position: Assistant Engineer
Coming from a Motocross background I was introduced to road racing seriously in 2004 with a team competing in the MRO 600 Supersport Championship. A new team with a newcomer rider, we finished 2nd in the Championship.
In 2005 the team reorganised and entered the British Supersport Cup Championship, and through hard work and dedication we won at the first attempt.
2006 started full of optimism but soon became a difficult year with serious injuries in pre-season testing, ruling out competition for at least half of the season.
My luck changed after a chance discussion with Centurion Racing and I was welcomed into the team at the Silverstone round in September 2006.
As a relative newcomer to road racing I feel very fortunate to have learnt so much in such a short time and I am relishing the opportunity of another season with the Centurion Racing Team.
I briefly helped Westy out at the beginning of last season before he returned to the 125's. He's a great guy to work with, and has great potential to be up there in the top 10 of the Supersport class this season. Hopefully with some good testing under his belt pre-season Westy will be "on it" as he likes to say!
Now with a bigger improved Centurion Team this season, I can see Westy, Dennis and Dan possibly finishing in the top 5 of the Supersport Class on more than one occasion. Good luck lads!
I can't wait to work with everyone at the Centurion Race Team again in 2008 so lets 'bring it on!'
